Bakken Classic Club & Fishing Derby

The Bakken Classic Club is a conservation committee of the Foundation that helps raise money for habitat, wildlife and outdoor access projects throughout the state. Members of the club participate in a fishing tournament each year to raise awareness about these and other projects. The tournament was started in 2013 and has raised more than $70,000 for projects. Funds have been used to help the Mule Deer Foundation, Pheasants Forever, the Fingal Wildlife Club, and the Planting for the Future Tree Habitat Program, among others.

The 7th Annual Bakken Classic Fishing Derby was held Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Four Bears Casino Marina. Eighty-three teams participated, helping raise more than $24,000 for habitat and outdoor projects and causes.
